WHERE: Fox Hill School Cafeteria

If you cannot attend, you need to let us know in advance and you will be required to meet with the principal or teacher at your child’s school to discuss the rules and expectations of our Bournedale trip.

Getting Ready for Bournedale - Packing List and Health Form

As we start the school year, our annual trip to Camp Bournedale is right around the corner.
   
     Dates are...
            Francis Wyman and Pine Glen - Sept. 17-18
            Fox Hill and Memorial - Sept. 18-19

Be on the lookout for school health forms to be sent home even though you might have received one in the Spring.  Please send them back ASAP with ALL information completely filled out including a physician's signature.  You can fax the forms back to your respective school.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The dates on the form are for Memorial and Fox Hill only! If you are a Francis Wyman or Pine Glen parent please note that the dates for your Bournedale trip are Sept. 17-18 (Wed-Thurs.) If you are printing the forms from home just be aware of the dates!

Bournedale Information

Dear Parents of “Soon to Be” Fifth Graders,

The time is fast approaching for our annual fifth grade overnight field trip to Camp Bournedale in Plymouth, MA.  The dates for the trip are September 17th and 18th for Francis Wyman and Pine Glen and Sept. 18th and 19th (two days and one night).  This optional, yet highly recommended and popular trip is a great way to kick off the school year!  

Please fill-out and return the permission slip (necessary) and chaperone request form (optional) with a check or cash. The cost of the trip (including transportation) is $ 165.00 per child.  Checks should be made payable to “Burlington Public Schools-Camp Bournedale”. Due to the timing of the trip in September we are requiring FULL PAYMENT this spring.  If you absolutely need a refund in the fall (child illness, family emergency, etc) it will be granted. Checks and forms are due back to school by Friday June 13th.

THANKS!!

Thanks to all the parents and teachers that attended last night's Bournedale Informational Meeting.  All 4th grade students should have received (or will be receiving) all information packets, permission slips, and chaperone request forms.  The sooner you get the forms back to your respective schools, the more time teachers will have to organize chaperone lists, etc.  The goal is to definitely choose chaperones BEFORE the end of the school year.

INFORMATIONAL MEETING

ATTENTION 4TH GRADE PARENTS!!!!

The director of Camp Bournedale is holding an informational meeting for all current 4th grade parents.  

The meeting will be held at Francis Wyman Auditorium on TUESDAY May 27th 2014 at 6:00pm.

Darin Fabrizio (camp director) will be showing a PowerPoint presentation discussing the educational programs and facilities provided to all students who attend Camp Bournedale.  Darin will answer any questions and address any concerns that you may have. Teachers will also be there to answer any questions.
